Meet And Greet With David Parrish, Our New Customer Support Specialist

By: Wednesday, August 1, 2012

Our little office at LightBound isn't so little anymore! We are continuously adding more people to our fast-growing company, and we couldn't be more excited to share with you our newest team members. David Parrish is our latest customer support specialist, and I sat down with him last week to learn more about him, as well as his role here in the office. Here's a few things that I learned about David so far...

Brittany: Tell us about yourself.

David: I'm married with a family of five- I have a 17 year old, 10 year old, 7 year old, 4 year old, and a 2 year old. I am currently enrolled at ITT Tech for network administration. I definitely want to pursue my education further when I'm finished with ITT, concentrating mostly in the technology industry.

Brittany: What is your primary role here at LightBound?

David: I'm in charge of incoming customer support calls and emails for residential services and web hosting. (That means when all of our residential customers have a question, you can call our customer support line and talk to David any time!)

Brittany: What do you like most about working at LightBound?

David: The freedom to help our residential customers the way I like. We don't read from a script like other customer support specialists in the technology sector; we're people who know our services inside and out. I also like the people here on the LightBound staff; the people here are awesome.

Brittany: So do you consider yourself a tech geek?

David: Oh yeah! I'm totally a tech geek all the way! I have always had a love for technology, but ever since I completed an A+ certification through the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), I have been working on computers from my house nonstop.

Brittany: What are some things you are looking forward to while working at LightBound?

David: Expanding my knowledge in the technology field and applying the things I learn at ITT to my customer support role. Once I'm completely comfortable with this position, I would love to move to our Network Operations Center (NOC) as a NOC Technician as well.

Brittany: What do you like to do when you aren't on the clock?

David: In the little free time I have outside of working and studying, I spend it with my family, playing with computers, and fly-fishing.

If you're interested in working for LightBound, please send resumes to: jobs@lightbound.net
