Navigating the Cloud: Best Practices & Successes

The effects of the winter storm have prevented me from coming into the office, but not from being able to work productively. I work for LightBound and we are in the business of providing voice, Internet, and data services no matter what the weather conditions are. We provide server collocation and cloud services from our data center for our customers to have rock-solid availability around the clock for their critical IT and voice systems. We drink our own champagne so we run all of our services out of the data center. Our Microsoft Exchange server is hosted on the Cloud Services platform and is protected by a firewall with VPN access.   I am able to get connected to the Internet from home through the LightBound business DSL. Our VoIP PBX Solutions are also hosted on a server at the data center so I have full access to all voice services at the office.   I have set up me status on the phone system forward calls to my cell phone, so I have all the services I need to take care of business.
